Yes! I first read about this months ago in a science journal, and what has been the MSM narrative? Why, what else would it be? That our new president will restore 'science to its proper place' by funding embryonic stem cell research despite the fact that:
1. iPS cells have been shown to work on humans and embronyic stemm cells haven't. (The first human trial started LESS than a month ago!)
2. iPS cells do not pose the same threat to our bodies that embryonic cells would.
3. Embryonic cells HAVE caused tumors (albeit in a poorly executed treatment) in a teenage boy.
So- who is not paying attention to science? I'd say it is the proponents of embryonic stem cell therapies.
