Spotlight Fallacy

The attention garnered by the assassination of George Tiller is proof of its abnormality. If this sort of thing was common it wouldn't be news.

Pro-life groups have instantly condemned the murder, and the murderer himself was associated with extremist political groups but not the mainstream pro-life movement.
